Dental care at Forest dental
Forest Dental has been operating for more than 15 years, establishing itself as a valued member of Essex’s dental services. We are very proud of what we’ve achieved and excited to be welcoming new patients. So, let’s discuss more about what we do and how we operate.
Family run, family oriented
Our surgery grew out of a priority to take the dental excellence of Harley Street and pair it with a family-oriented, heartfelt and independent clinic. Serving in suburban Essex, we like to see ourselves as an island of dental care, mixing professionalism of the highest standards with a down-to-Earth bedside manner, building a rapport through our actions, and establishing the trust required to help our patients reach their goals.
Multi-discipline: covering all the bases
Between our dental team, we have all handled general dental techniques, knowing that we can provide such a range of care. This is an important part of our diagnostic procedure, and we do not want patients to leave our surgery without getting the help that they need. Even if we do have to refer you to a specialist, this will help you manage any symptoms that may be bothering you in the interim.
We provide full family dentistry, including fillings, crowns and veneers, and we focus the care of younger patients on dental education and prevention, using fluoride supplements to help defend milk teeth from acid damage or early cavity formation. We work with bridges, partial dentures and full dentures, including their maintenance and fitting.

24-hour emergency treatment
As a single-partner practice, there are limitations and flexibilities to the way we operate. We have a 24-hour phone line which passes on all calls in real-time. It allows us to perform a rapid triage over the phone and open the surgery for emergency procedures on weekends and at night if required.
This service permits the level of care that would normally require trips to A&E, so we have been particularly busy during recent disruptions. Despite this, we have continued to serve our community and have been proud to do so.
Single-use plastics and developing the clinic further
One of the best things about being an independent practice like Forest Dental is not having the oversight of a head office and bureaucracy that comes with it. This allows us to take our clinic in any direction we feel appropriate, such as our commitment to minimising the role of single-use plastics in all of our procedures. Moreover, we continue to invest in new techniques that reduce waste and provide convenience to our patients, such as in situ UV-cured resin, which can be produced with a fraction of the cost and energy expenditure compared to porcelain prosthetics.
At Forest Dental, we very much see our clinic as a living and growing organism and would be happy to have you join our patient list. So, if you’re looking for a compassionate yet professional dentist, please feel free to get in contact.
