When was the last time you saw a dentist?
In order for us to have optimum oral health, it is recommended that you have regular appointments with your dentist. This is so that the dentist can examine your teeth, identify if there are any dental issues, and advise on the most suitable dental treatment to resolve your issue.
If you do not book regular appointments with a dentist however, you run the risk of having dental issues left untreated, which can lead to further problems down the line that can ultimately affect your physical health and wellbeing.
If you cannot remember the last time you saw a dentist, and you are based in Loughton, why not visit our practice Forest Dental Loughton, where our team of highly trained dental professionals will be able to help you on your dental health journey.
What you should know about our dental practice
Our practice Forest Dental Loughton has been providing high quality dental treatments for our patients using the latest in dental technology to provide long lasting dental care. We offer to our patients dental treatments within the following areas of dentistry; general treatments, cosmetic dentistry, preventative dentistry and also treatments for those who have missing teeth.
If you have not visited our practice before however, we would advise you to book an appointment with us and have a new patient exam.
What to expect as a new patient at our practice
At Forest Dental Loughton we are always happy to welcome new patients to our practice and with our new patient exam, it gives us a chance to get to know more about you, your dental health and find out your long term goals for your teeth.
When you arrive at our practice, we will ask you to complete a questionnaire, which will ask you questions regarding your dental needs, if you have previously had any dental history and for you to disclose our medical history and any pre-existing conditions you may have. This is important as should you require dental treatment, we will be able to use the information you have given us to ensure that you are given the most suitable treatment.
You will then meet with our principal dentist Dr Sab Rana who will invite you into her surgery to carry out a thorough assessment of your teeth, gums and mouth. X rays and photographs will help our dentist to make a diagnosis if needed.
Once our dentist has completed the examination, your dental health will be discussed in detail and should you require any dental treatment, you will be presented with the most suitable options. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns you may have at this stage.
Once you have decided to go ahead with the recommended treatment, you will be given a detailed treatment plan which will include important factors such as how long the treatment will be, along with fees and options for payment.
If you are particularly nervous about having dental treatment you will not need to worry, as our practice will treat you with the utmost care and respect, creating a calm and professional environment for you to feel comfortable at all times.
